OURWhat a credit buys

Credits, in finished work.

Credits meter what the agent actually does — the reading, the thinking, the time in a browser — so a job that takes more work costs more. These are the five shapes most of that work takes, smallest to largest.

A typical inbox triageOne pass over a morning's mail: sorted, filed, the routine replies drafted.Cost follows how much mail there is, not how long you leave it running.Lightest
A scheduled reportThe Monday numbers pulled from the same places, with the commentary written.Cost follows how many sources it has to read and reconcile.Weight 2
A browser research taskChecking suppliers, prices or prospects across sites with no API.Cost follows how many pages it has to open and read to be sure.Weight 3
A client-onboarding workflowWelcome mail, contract, folder, tracker entry and the kick-off booked.Cost follows the number of steps and systems the sequence touches.Weight 4
A software buildAn internal tool, a booking form, or a change shipped as a pull request. The heaviest work by a distance — it reads, writes, runs and tests.Heaviest

We are deliberately not publishing a credit figure per task yet. We will put exact numbers here once they are measured across real runs rather than estimated — until then, the ordering above is the honest answer, and the agent always tells you before it spends into a limit you set.

Pricing, answered.

How do credits work?

Every agent run meters the compute and model time it actually uses. Plans include monthly credits; you can top up or set hard limits at any time. The table above shows how the common kinds of work compare in size.

How many of these tasks does a plan cover?

We are not publishing a per-task credit figure until it is measured across real runs — an estimate that turns out to be wrong is worse than no number. What we can tell you today is the ordering: an inbox triage is the lightest thing you will run, a software build is by far the heaviest, and the agent stops and tells you before it spends past a limit you have set.

What happens when I run out?

The agent pauses and tells you — nothing silently bills. Top up, or wait for your monthly credits to refresh.

Is Mail included?

Mail is a per-mailbox monthly add-on, not included in plan credits. On a paid Kaer plan it is $4.99/mo per mailbox; otherwise it is $6.73/mo per mailbox.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — plans are month-to-month and cancel from settings, effective at period end.
