Policies you set

Your rules, in writing.

Enterprise turns your organisation's policies into terms: what Kaer keeps, for how long, who can do what, and what waits for a person. Choose what you need and we put it in a signed agreement.

  • Agreed in writing with each organisation
  • Enforced in the product: roles, approvals and isolated machines
  • The same terms on the web, the desktop app and your phone

Questions

What European teams ask first.

The longer answers are in the DPA, the Privacy Policy and on the security page.

Where is my data stored?
Kaer's servers and primary storage are in Germany and Finland. The AI model providers that process prompts are listed in the Privacy Policy, each with its country; some of them are outside the EEA, and those transfers run under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
What does zero data retention (ZDR) mean at Kaer?
On Enterprise, prompts, files and outputs are processed and then not stored once the work is done. ZDR is agreed in writing with each organisation, and retention windows can also be set per workspace.
Do we need to sign a DPA?
No. Kaer's Data Processing Addendum under GDPR Article 28 applies automatically to every business customer, on every plan. It covers Kaer's role as your processor, sub-processors, security measures, breach notice, international transfers, audits, deletion and help with data-subject requests.
Is our data used to train AI models?
Never third-party foundation models. While a person's "Help improve our services" setting is on, eligible content with secrets removed can help train Kaer's own models; each person can switch it off in Settings. With ZDR, content is not stored after the work is done.
How will we hear about a new sub-processor?
Business customers get at least 14 days' notice of a new sub-processor under the DPA, and the full list, with what each provider receives and where the company is based, is in the Privacy Policy.
Can our developers use Kaer's models from their own code?
Yes. The Janus models sit behind an OpenAI-compatible endpoint at api.kaer.ai: point the SDK you already use at https://api.kaer.ai/v1 and keep your code. Usage is prepaid and never billed past zero.
Which apps does Kaer come with?
Kaer on the web for your desk, the Kaer Work desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux, which builds in a project folder like an IDE and runs Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI on the subscriptions you already have, and the iPhone and Android app for approving and following your agents on the go, which is coming soon.
How do we start?
