For e-commerce operations
Automate ordering on supplier portals.
To automate supplier portal ordering, Kaer signs in to the portal in its own browser, rebuilds your usual order from a stock sheet or last month's order, and stops before the click that places it. It needs no integration with the portal, so it works on sites your supplier built for people.
Which portal jobs can Kaer take on?
Anything you do by hand in an ordinary browser. Start with the jobs you repeat every week.
Repeat orders
Opens last month's order, copies it, changes the quantities you give it and stops before the order is placed.
Waits for you: the click that places the order.
Reorders from a stock sheet
Reads your Google Sheet or an attached CSV, picks the lines below your reorder point and fills in the order form line by line.
Waits for you: the click that places the order.
Price and stock checks
Looks up the same products across several portals and returns price, minimum order and availability in one table.
Waits for you: nothing. It reads and reports.
Confirmations and invoices
Downloads order confirmations and invoices as PDFs and files them in Google Drive under the supplier's name.
Waits for you: nothing. Filing sends nothing.
Late deliveries
Checks order status in the portal and drafts a message to your rep for anything past its date.
Waits for you: the email.
How does Kaer work a portal with no integration?
It uses the site the way you do, and you can watch every step in a live browser beside the chat.
- 01Brief it in a Work chat
Name the portal and the job: “log in to the supplier portal, repeat last month's order and change the 500ml line to 40 units”.
- 02Sign in yourself
When the site asks for a password or a one-time code, click Take over, type it and click Hand back. Kaer can't see your password.
- 03Watch it in the Errand pane
A live browser opens with the site's address and a Live badge. The footer reads “Kaer has control” while it works.
- 04Approve the final click
Before a click it recognises as paying, booking or confirming, Kaer asks: Approve, or Check it myself.
Can it run on a schedule?
Yes. Once a run works in chat, turn it into a workflow and keep the approval step in.
On a schedule
Run the stock check every Monday at 08:00, whether or not anyone remembers.
When mail arrives
A low-stock alert or a supplier's email starts the job.
With an approval step
Place a person on the step that commits money. The workflow stops there and waits.
With a one-time code
A portal that asks for a code at each sign-in still needs a person at that step, because only you receive it.
Where does Kaer stop?
These stay with you. One of them needs a line in your brief.
Passwords, codes and card details
You type them. Kaer never sees them.
Orders and payments
A click Kaer recognises as placing an order or paying gets an Approve card, whichever tool it is using.
Plainly labelled buttons
If the portal's final button only says Submit, Kaer may not read it as an order. Tell it to stop before that button, or add an approval step.
Security checks
Captchas and sites that block automated browsers are handed to you. Kaer tells you and offers control, and does not work around them.
